Well, here we are at, at 38 weeks and counting. I decided to try something new with these two pictures. I made them multi-exposed because I wasn't a true fan of either picture on it own and so I gave you two for the price of one.Jamie and I decided that it would be fun to do a baby poll. We have two more weeks left until this little one's due date (Aug.22). I know that there are more people that look on my blog to keep updated so I want to hear from you. Please leave a comment as to the date, time and weight that you think baby beck will be entering into this world. As for me, I would love it to be sooner than later. The first person to begin this poll is actually Jamie's dad. He thinks that baby beck will come on Aug. 15 at 3pm ( i added the weight part after he gave me his date and time) Jamie predicts that baby beck will come Aug. 24 at 11pm weighing in at 8lb. 2 oz. I am not fond of the date he picked but seeing as most women in their first pregnancy go over the due date I see his pessimistic yet realistic perspective. I really hope baby beck proves his daddy wrong:)
The person that gets the closest to the date, time and weight will receive a prize. Not sure exactly what it will be yet but it will be something good. I would say a Starbucks card but I know that there are some out there that would prefer Tim Hortons. So, when all is said and done we will figure it out. I will be eagerly awaiting your opinions and I will try and post them on a regular basis now that I am done with work!!!!

Yes, i'm a blog snoop. I graduated with Jamie. I thought his 2 days over was not pessimistic at all -- maybe even optimistic? :)
If you tell yourself to expect 10 days past your due date, the last few weeks goes faster. But hey... there's always hoping too.
All the best as you experience bringing forth and meeting your baby. Those first moments are so amazing, and I found each birth unique; but common to all for me was being able to feel the touch of God and His closeness. Blessings of health and strength.

Due to your "Nine Month Tea" I predict an on time baby - August 22, 3:00 am (sure hope that isn't true), at 8 lb 1 oz. Can't wait!

Megs I predict August 23 because I like having things on the same day and that is both Jody's birthday number, my sister's anniversary and her birthday is on Dec 23......so yes, August 23,at 5 am weighing in at 7 lbs 11 ounces!(that's what I weighed and I was right on time! ;-) I kind of hope I am wrong and the big day is sooner, but will be watching to see other people's predictions! (looks like Heather and I are both predicting a baby in the wee hours of the morning!)
Hi Megan. I am going to say August 24th at 0722, you know just to make things fun at hospital shift change, and a weight of 8 lbs 1 oz. Can't wait!

Mom, stole my date for my reason, but I am going to stick with it as well, so August 23 at 1130pm, just to make things more interesting, weighing in at 8lbs 3oz.
I hope we are all wrong and he comes early and not late like normal first babies because I am convinced he will be anything but normal, in the best way , possible. Seeing that the family he is getting born into, is far from normal, I don't think he has a very good chance of fitting into that category.

I am choosing a date before your due date just to be optimistic but I have the weight a little heavier to bring things back to reality. Hope it all goes well for you. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I think that my guess is as much a guess as everyone else. However, if there is a Tim Horton's donut in the balance, I will bring all of my ignorance to bear. I think "he" will be born while we are enroute to your place, on Friday, August 25th at 5:30 am, and weigh exactly 7# 14 1/2 oz. O.K.,so I could be off by a week and 3#. Love ya Meg, Dad............

I am a friend of Jody and Darin's in Texas. And at first I was going to predict late and say August 23rd, since that would be Aunt Jody's birthday. But I think my real prediction will be my daughter Tiffany's birthday which is August 18th. Either way, I hope it is sooner than later for you.

I've been out of the loop on blogs for a few weeks with all that's been happening in our family. It's "catch up" time! I predict August 17th, 10:45 PM, weighing 7 lbs, 14 oz. That's the best birthday to have, since I will be celebrating it for the 49th time this week. (Not shy about telling my age, since I could be a lot older with all the wonderful experiences packed into those years!)

My guess is August 19th at 6:01 am and weighing 8 lbs, 14 oz. Sorry about the weight, but that was the weight Alana, our first daughter was when she was born. It's also her birhtday. What a special day that was!
This will be one of the most joyous ocassions that will take place in your lives.
Jamie my prayer for you is that you will be a hands on daddy. You have been given a wonderful example and big shoes to fill, but I know you can do it. Megan, hold that baby all you want, and don't let anyone tell you that you shouldn't pick it up when it cries.
