As you can see Aidan has a new toy. It is an exersaucer. (if that is even how you spell it). Thanks to Matt and Dawn. All of their children (4) have out grown it. He has always been rather strong so this toy is perfect for him. Once he figured that he could stand in it he truly enjoys going up and down.
Here is a perfect picture showing how he has learned to stand. He has started to notice the toys that surround him but they aren't all that important to him yet. I am sure they will grow on him eventually.
Instead of playing with the toys he would much rather make eyes at whoever is in the room. As you can tell he is quite the charmer.
This part weekend we had a gingerbread house making at our house with a couple of different families. Nine children in all (not including Aidan). Our house was packed. Aidan did not know what to do with all the noise and activity. He just sat on his daddy's lap and watched in amazement. Of course he was fighting sleepy eyes but he was not going to miss a second.

What great pictures Megs!!! I miss him even though it has only been a few days. I have seen several babies here in Texas but no one is as cute! Looks like he loves his new 'toy'.....I am not surprised since he loves moving and standing up!
I can't believe you really had a Gingerbread Making party at your house.....I seem to remember that you and Jamie got pretty bored everytime we made gingerbread men!! Is that called growing up? or just being parents? Sounds like fun!
These pictures are just precious. You can tell that he is enjoying life. He obviously is having fun learning all about things that are new in his life, but he also looks and acts like a child who knows that he is safe and loved. You guys are doing such a great job as parents. That is a true joy for us. Can't wait to see you all soon at Christmas. Tell Aidan that we love him.
