We just got back from Aidan's 6 month dr. appointment (even though his six month birthday isn't for another week) and he weighs in at 17 lbs. 13 oz. Many of you might be thinking "Wow, that doesn't seem that much for the last time." Well, your right. He has slowed down in the weight department. At his four month check-up he weighed just a pound more. However, he has continued to grow in length and in the size of his head. He is now 28 inches long and his head has grown 2 more centimeters from the last time. That means his brain his growing. Yahooo! Let's hope that means he is going to be a smart one. His doctor said that I could begin feeding him more solids now. We have started with the rice cereal so we will see when we introduce some veggies and fruits. He really seems to enjoy the rice cereal. He only gets it at night right now but we will be adding it to the morning time as well.
Yesterday Aidan and I were playing on the floor with his toys and I noticed that he was chomping down hard on his hand so I decided to check his gums again for any new teeth. Sure enough, he has cut another tooth. Another one on the bottom next to the first one. All I can say is "Man, I am glad that I am not breastfeeding right now!"

Six months (almost)! I can't believe that he is getting so old, I bet you can't either. Thanks for the pictures, he is a cutie, there is no doubt there.

Thanks for taking the time to share these wonderful pictures of Aidan with us all. You don't know how special it is to be able to keep up with how Aidan and you all are doing. With your pictures and comments we feel like we are not missing as much! Thanks again, Love Papa...............
