A Good Weekend...

We had a good weekend with family and friends. It was a busy one for all of us but we all had fun. Friday night we had Heather and Matt over for dinner. As you can tell from the pictures Aidan and Matt get along quite great. They have a unique relationship......
Uncle Matthew mimics most of Aidan's noises. Aidan loves all the attention that he gets. On Friday there conversations kept getting louder and louder. Then of course, if Uncle Matt was not paying attention to him his noises would get louder as well. We all were laughing so hard at the them.
I was able to be on worship team this weekend. I always love being able to do it. This weekend was especially fun for me. Everyone on the team gets along so well; we always have fun. Jamie has been so supportive. He was willing to take Aidan again for most of the weekend, having to take care of feeding him and getting him ready for bed. He did such a great job once again.
We took Aidan for a walk Sunday late afternoon and he ended up falling asleep. This was the first time he had fallen asleep in the stroller. I couldn't believe it. I was beginning to wonder if he would ever relax enough to sleep in his stroller. However, he has been sick since the weekend and was in need of a good nap. His nose has been running wild, not even dimetap seemed to be working. He hates it now when I have to wipe his nose. I have been putting lotion on his nose to help his skin not get too raw. But seeing as this is the first cold he has gotten; we are doing rather well. He has had runny noses before but nothing like this.
Sunday night we decided to give him a bath because it is a great way to get him ready for bedtime. Lately his has found his toes when we are getting dressed and he decides to put his feet in his mouth. Quite the site I must say.

What Great pictures Meg! You do such an awesome job of catching Aidan in all of his special and unique poses! :-)

You are so right about him and his Uncle Matthew though...they definitely have a very unique and special relationship!

love the foot in the mouth - so cute!
wanted to also say that you're welcome to join us at first time mom's group...we're meeting at the church today, and i believe we're doing some card-making or scrapbooking (neither of which I ever do, but i go for the people!). We meet at 1pm until whenever (2:30/3ish) in the nursery.
