What's new in our family??? Or should I say what is new in my life? (no I'm not pregnant!) God has placed a new job into my lap, literally. From the time I left my job for maternity leave; I knew I would be back because that was plan. However, God seemed to have a different plan. I will be working part-time from home!!! I was approached by a friend of ours who works for World Vision International. He is the Director of the Micro-finance and I.T. department. WVI is based out of L.A. but he works from here. He was given approval to hire an admin assistant locally. He and his wife were praying about who would work and my name came up.
To make a longer story shorter.....I have accepted the job offer! I must be honest that I was completely blown away because I was not looking for a different job. I had accepted the fact that I would be going back to work and Aidan would be going to daycare. I am totally thrilled to be able to stay home with Aidan. It provides stability for him, allows me to be with him and saves us lots of money in daycare costs.

I took this picture to show you all his fangs. I thought that these were the two teeth next to his top front two (that he should have gotten first) but a friend of mine (Carly) said she thought that they were the next ones over. That means that four teeth should fit between them. Crazy!
I found out from a mom, at the park, that the fangs normally don't come in until 18 months! She couldn't believe that he had his already. Her daughter was over 18 months and still didn't have hers. I suppose now we will just have to wait and see which tooth will make its appearance next.

great news about the job - that's awesome!
as for aidan's teeth (LOVE the picture), i don't think those are his eye teeth. I think they're the ones next to the two middle ones. YOu can see the roots of his teeth in his gums, and there's only two there, so i think it's only 2 teeth that have to fit between. Taeya's tooth is the same way. but i guess time will tell!
Congrats!! It`ll be so nice to work at home. Good Luck!!!
Congrats on the new job Megs - that will be so great for you! And I love the fangs ... that picture is going to be a winner in a wedding slide show one day
