Bumps and Dings

This week has truly been one for Aidan injuries. The poor little guy seems to move too fast for his own good; resulting in face plants, bumped heads and cut lips. Oh the life of a boy! I think that he truly gets so exciting and tries to show that in his movement and forgets that he needs to watch out for objects in his way. Last night he fell onto one of his toys and received a good goose egg on the side of his head.
Also this week he has enjoyed sitting by the back door that goes out onto our porch. The family that lives behind us has several children that like to jump on their trampoline and Aidan loves to watch them. It's almost like he is watching with anticipation of one day joining in on their fun games. It is so cute watching him sit there as he tells us exactly what is going on (not like we can understand him but we sure make it seem like we do). This is definitely a picture worth a thousand words.

Last night, along with the bumps and dings, we had my friend, Tiffany, over. She taught me how to make sushi. It was so fun! I have to say that I am sushi lover in the making. After last night, I am definitely going to keep eating it. I must stress that homemade is the best I have had. It was so easy and tons of fun. We only made avocado and cucumber rolls last night but hopefully the next time we will introduce crab.

I realized that while making it I had the perfect dish for presentation. I had gotten this gift at Christmas time and hadn't yet had the opportunity to use it. It was perfect!!!! Can you tell that I am so proud of myself and the new creative side that is coming out???? It doesn't happen very often. I have to document it when it happens.

We also watched "So You Think You Can Dance" This is our favorite summer show right now and it is perfect that it is Tiffany's as well. She comes over for dinner almost every week and we have such a good time laughing through almost the entire show. I can't wait till they narrow it down to the top 20. That is when the true competition begins.

Poor Aidan, I am sure that he will have many more weeks like that, especially if he has inherited any of his aunt's gracefulness.

What a precious picture! Loooks like he really wants to get outdoors and jump on that tramp. Can't wait to see you all in July!
