He Likes It!

Well, the verdict is in....dad likes his buzzed head!
Aidan was taking a nap when Jamie came home so I was able to prepare him before he saw it. It really wasn't that bad. Jamie just laughed when he heard that I got his head buzzed. He knew that it was going to have to happen eventually....
After Aidan's nap he became our entertainer. I don't know what came over the child but he started to make these faces and we both couldn't stop laughing. We tried to capture these looks... Whenever we would laugh he got a big smile on his face, laughed and then would start the looks all over again. Oh, how I wish you could have experienced it on your own.

Can you tell that he has learned that we like his antics?!?!?
Oh dear, the monster we are creating.....gotta love it!

I took this picture today and I just added it because it is cute. I found these large lego blocks and Value Village earlier this week. He really likes the fact that the blocks stack onto one another but he hasn't learned how to do it yet.
I have quickly learned the last couple of days that Aidan does not like to listen to me when I tell him "no". He will listen to his dad but he likes to smile and laugh and continue doing what he is NOT suppose to do when I am around. Of course I don't let him get away with it but I can't figure out what is different about my "No" than Jamie's. I suppose it will just have to work harder at it. If anybody has any great ideas I welcome them.....

I love the hair and the faces ... Bubs is definitely a ham :) And sorry about the truck - we got home in the evening and didn't figure you would be able to come out with bedtimes looming. I will have to tell you all about it at lunch on Friday. Looking forward to it!

Love all the pictures Megs! What a ham is right! He sure does enjoy getting a response from people....as for saying 'no' with feeling, just keep doing it and he will figure it out in a hurry that you are serious! He understands only too well!
