Aidan and I joined some of our friends at Haztic Lake yesterday. It was such a beautiful day for it. As you can see Aidan really enjoyed himself. His first time eating sand...I think he liked it. The water was a bit chilly...he didn't mind it on his feet but he did not want to sit in the water. I had to clean him off many times and he let me know that he was NOT thrilled with the situation.
As the day progressed I had to strip him down to his diaper. He was filthy! Sand everywhere!
Needless to say he had a bath when we got home. I am recognizing that Aidan really enjoys spending time outside. He has always liked going for walk around the neighborhood but now we are going to have to spend more time in our backyard. I might have to invest in a kiddie pool.
I can't believe that it is only 1 1/2 weeks before we leave to spend two weeks with my family! We are really looking forward to having a bit of a vacation. And I know that they can't wait to spend some good times with Aidan.

Sounds like Taeya. Loves the water! Before you get a kiddie pool, you're always welcome to come hang out in ours. Taeya loves having friends play in the pool with her :)
I meant to say she loves the outdoors too (well, water yes, but you were talking about aidan loving outdoors).
