13

This is how Aidan waits for his dad to come home. Whenever he hears the garage door opening he runs to the top of the stairs. Just in the last couple of weeks he has learned to climb the gate. It truly is the cutest thing. Don't worry he is good and getting down without falling. I wondered if he would fall hard from his antics but he has shown me he can get down just fine.
It looks like Aidan has cut his first molar (or at least I think it is a molar). He hasn't seemed anymore cranky. I think that sometimes he gets a bit of a fever but nothing that last too long.

I didn't realize that yesterday was Aidan's 13 month birthday! He has gotten to be such a big boy. We had his head buzzed two weeks ago and that really makes him look older. We are working on more signs for communicating but he sure likes to talk. There are a couple words that are understandable but mostly it is just his own language. He definitely understand most of what I say. When I asked him the other day to go find his "Thomas" he immediately looked in the direction of where Thomas the Train was and proceeded to go and get it. I was quite impressed. Simple thrills these days:)
Life here is rather busy but we are doing good. Jamie is getting into a routine of school and being the athletic director. This week and the upcoming week are going to be really busy for him but I suppose that comes with the territory of being the A.D. Work is going well for me. I am getting my hours in daily/weekly so that is a great answer to prayer. I am also cleaning a couple of homes this week so that definitely adds more hours of work for me. I do enjoy it though because it is time for me to get away and to serve others in the process. It's a good time all around.

Megan, great 13th month birthday picture. By the way, who are the Canucks? OK just kidding. Make sure that one the first words that he learns is Papa, then donuts, you know like Krispy Kream's and Tim Horton's. Sailboat is another good one. I'll have a list for him when you guys come in December. We miss you all. Love, Papa........
