Jamie's Birthday!!!

Lately, Aidan has really been into stacking Coke cans lately. We have had to take them from our wood floor in the kitchen and bring them into our living room carpeted floor so that it doesn't make too much noise downstairs in our suite. However, when we know that they are gone we just let him play with the cans in the kitchen. Who would have thought I would have Coke can's lying around my living room floor.

This past weekend we were celebrating Jamie's 30th birthday! I can't believe my man has hit the big 30. Thankfully, it is not something that has bothered him. He just says it is funny to think that the next BIG birthday is 40.

Thursday was his actual birthday, we had his parent's and Heather and Matt over for dinner. It was a good time to be with family. I had wanted to throw a suprise party for him because it was a milestone birthday but the week and days before his birthday he started asking too many questions and I realized that one of these times he was going to catch me a lie. I decided to tell him I was trying to put together and he was surprised (just a bit early). On Friday, we met up wiht some of Jamie's good friends and we had dinner out at The Greek Islands. It is one of Jamie's favorite restuarants. It was great to hang out with good friends.

On Sunday we took some funny pictures of Daddy and Aidan. They love to do this face at each other and Aidan quickly learned to look at the camera to do "the face." I can't even tell you how this face came about but it has stuck, they have fun doing it and I get to laugh.

Jamie and I were able to go to the Canuck's game on Sunday night. It was tons of fun. We chose to take the skytrain into the stadium instead of driving the whole way. It was so fun.
