A little bit of everything.....

Earlier this week Aidan found my curling iron. I can honestly say that I don't use it anymore so when he found it I did not mind him playing with it. It was quite funny when he looked at me and put it to his hair. Kind of like he new what he was doing.....
Aidan has always had a fascination with anything that has a rope or cord. So, this was nothing new when I found him happily pulling the curling iron around the kitchen floor.

At the end of this week Aidan had his first official hair cut. He has had his haircut before but it was just buzzing it all off. I decided that it wasn't smart to cut all his hair off in the middle of winter. So, he received his first hair style. I must say that he is quite the little boy now. Not much of a baby left in him anymore.
This weekend was a good one along with being busy. We hung out with friends on Friday night and then on Saturday Jamie and I took the afternoon to do some shopping to look at toddler/twin beds for Aidan. Since we are having another little one at the end of May we are wanting to start working on transitioning Aidan into his own bed. We have found many options that all are good but now it is comes down to deciding what would be best for him along with financially what we can handle along with having money left over for other baby things we need for the second child.
There are not a lot of things that we need for this new little one but we will need a few bigger ticket items and I would like to have some smaller things that I did not have with Aidan that I would find helpful this second time around.

It was a fun time being with Jamie for the afternoon and evening. We were able to talk about what we would like to see happen in the next few months before the baby comes and talk about names have always been difficult. I think we have decided though that this time around we are going to keep this baby's name a secret. We have to keep people guessing with something......
