Today after church we decided to take Aidan up to the school from our home to play. Normally we go for a walk and end at the school playground. This time we just decided to go straight to the playground. We took his wagon for the first time and he absolutely loved it.

I added this picture for those of you who are curious as to how big I am getting. I know it doesn't give you a side profile (thank goodness) but at least it gives you a bit of idea. I am now going to the midwife every week and so far so good. I have been having many Braxton Hicks contractions lately which in my mind tells me that my body is getting ready to have this little one. I don't remember having this many Braxton Hicks with Aidan but the midwife told me that this is normal. Usually with each pregnancy you will experience more symptons as you go along.

Aidan loves to bring his ball to the park/playground and he has gotten rather good at bouncing the ball and kicking it in the air. This was the best picture we got to show his true talent. Jamie laughs because he knows teenagers that struggle to do what Aidan is doing now with his soccer ball. He loves to learn how to do new things with his ball and it doesn't take him a long time to learn. We just have so much fun teaching him and laughing at the focus and drive he has to do it right.

Jamie's love of basketball has also rubbed off on Aidan and he loves to shoot hoops. He doesn't actually get it in the hoop but he sure loves to try. Did I mention the kid loves sports and balls?? Seriously, it verges on obsession (oh well, he's a boy what can I do?)
Jamie and I have decided that this summer we will be frequenting this park/playground. We really enjoy having this nearby as an alternative to our backyard. This summer we have to work on getting some outdoor toys for Aidan but until we succeed we have the playground down the road.

It is crazy to think that we will be taking these walks soon with four instead of three. We are very excited about this little one but I feel like I have so many things to get done before baby beck#2's arrival. I am planning on working up until I have this little one since I work from home and can do it. However, this does not make it any easier in getting the other things around the house done beforehand. I will be taking a couple of months off and looking forward to being able to focus 100% on the kids. It is a bit dauting to think that I will be looking after two kids instead of just one but I am refusing to worry about it and choosing to embrace the gift that it is. But until this little one graces us with its presence I have a "to do" list a mile long.
I think that Aidan is starting to realize that life is going to be changing soon. I don't think he fully comprehends what all is going to take place but he knows something new is happening. My prayer for him is that God will be working in his heart to love and accept baby beck #2.

I too had WAY more Braxton Hicks with Landon...and way sooner too...and he came early!...hopefully this means #2 will be early for you too!
And don't worry about 2 kids...I was SO worried about it and it really is going much better then I thought. =)
What awesome pictures Megs.....so fun to see all of Aidan's new tricks! He is definitely growing up fast and I think he will be an awesome big brother. And I agree with Kristal...don't worry about 2 kids...you will do a great job just like you are with one.
Aidan is getting so big, it looks like you had a great time at the park.
I will be praying for your transition to two kids, for me number three was so much harder than number two.
Happy Mother's Day! I hope that your day was filled with much joy as you enjoy Aidan and eagerly await the littlest one's arrival. Thanks for the pictures, it is fun to see you and Jamie loving life with Aidan.
Megan, Thanks again for all the pictures to enjoy and the history that goes with them. It is always such a blessing to watch Aidan's life and yours and Jamie's unfold here on the blog as well as on Skipe. It does make the distance bareable. Can't wait to see you all in a couple of weeks. Give Aidan and Jamie a hug from us. Love ya, Papa........................
