We have been spending a lot of time at the park these past weeks. The weather is perfect and the new water park is definitely a fun addition. Aidan has really taken to the water park and doesn't mind getting wet and running around. He is always careful still and picks places where there aren't a lot of kids.
Aidan has been taking his bike and then Jaxon rides in the stroller. We only ever bring the bike when Jamie is around because I don't trust Aidan enough on his bike to be careful. I probably could do it on my own now as he has done really well the last couple of times. However, I don't have to since Jamie is home for the summer :)
Jaxon would love to ride a bike like his brother right now instead of being in the stroller. Every time we are in the garage he tries to get on Aidan's bike. Obviously, he is still a bit small for a bike but I am sure the moment we get him a bike (or pass Aidan's bike down) we won't be able to get him off of it.

Of course, Jaxon thinks it is necessary to follow after his brother and needs to do the same things. Sometimes I hesitate to let him try but for the most part he has done everything just fine and without much issue. They truly do enjoy playing with each other. Of course they have their moments but they do enjoy each other's company.
They were trying to race down the slides at the park but Aidan would always leave before Jaxon. Jaxon didn't seem to mind....he would just follow after his big brother.
Oh how the boys love the swings! I am sure that if we went to the park and spent the whole time on the swings they would be happy. Aidan has mastered the big swings (minus getting on and off by himself) and loves to go high. I absolutely love his laugh and smile in this picture. Every picture I took he was grinning from ear to ear and laughing. I tried to take some of Jaxon but his hat was on and he was always looking down when he came close.
For awhile Aidan would not smile for pictures (except professional) but it seems like for some instances he will smile now so I think we are making progress.
