This is Jamie's Mom writing, MamaB Megan calls me.We just got home from the hospital and they asked me to let all of you blog stalkers know that today was THE DAY!(they are at the hospital overnight and will be coming home tomorrow sometime).
Aidan James Beck made his appearance into the world at 6:50 pm weighing in at a whopping 8 pounds 14 ounces and 20 inches long! Mom and baby are doing great. I will let Megan fill you in on all the details and post pictures too, but knew you would all want to know! She did awesome, he is beautiful and Jamie is a proud Papa!
I just checked and it looks like Kirsten is the winner of the baby poll since she was the ONLY one that guessed August 24 although Justina you did guess the weight right on...good guesses all the way around!

8 lbs, 14 ozs.! I know what that feels like!! No drugs for me either and almost as fast. That is great for a first baby. I suggest you go to the hospital at the beginning of your labour for the next baby. I know what I'm talking about.
Your baby is beautiful!! I was on the computer early this morning checking my e-mail to see if Mama B had e-mailed me, but there was nothing. I am to new at this blog thing to even check it. Lucky me, she called this afternoon. She was so excited! That baby will have a lot of people who really love him. It is so nice Megan, that your parents can see him so soon after he is born.
Hold him all you want!!!
