The artistic side of Aidan...

I decided that I would post some of the pictures that we had taken by a professional photographer here in Abbotsford. The photographer was Scott Pankratz. I had seen some of his work with photographing babies and I knew that when we had a baby I was going to have him take some baby pictures for us. Unfortunately we were unable to do it when Aidan was first born. These pictures were taken when he was about 4 weeks old. Of course when they are only a week or two old is the best because they are still so sleepy and flexible you can do pretty much anything to them and they will sleep right through it. As you can tell our little one did not sleep through his photo shoot.....

I love this one of his feet in my hands. His feet are so precious. I just love his little toes. This particular shot was so funny because we weren't sure if we were going to be able to get him completely naked and tolerate being held in funny positions. As you can tell he did just fine but he did decided to pee on Jamie's pants after this picture was taken. It was the first time Jamie had been peed on. We all got a good laugh out of it. Overall it was great to get some neat shots and have a memory through the pictures. These aren't the best pictures because I took pictures of the prints that we got from Scott. So, they may be a bit fuzzy but I wanted family and friends back home to be able to see them. Hope you all enjoy.... Posted by Picasa

Meg & Jamie,
What can one say? These are precious. You know we will need one of these for our collection. Every time I look at his picture on my desk at work and the one on the coffee table at home, I smile and find myself incredibly grateful. Thanxs again for sharing these.
