On the weekend Jamie and I attended an evening at CLA that was featuring Dr. Tim Kimmel; the author of "Graced Based Parenting" We went with some of our couples from our life group. We all have kids at different ages and the women are reading the book right now. It is such a good book. Lots of it is common sense if you are a believer but it is so good to read it and hear from someone who has done it in his own home. I would highly recommend the book. I am so glad that I am reading it now, while Aidan is so young and I can work on it now as such a young age.

8 month milestones:
~ he has cut two top teeth. They aren't the front ones but the fangs. That will make for some interesting pictures I am sure
~ he tried avocado for the first time last night and loved it (thanks kelly)
~ he can almost eat an entire banana
~ standing on his own
~ he has learned to ask for the slurps of our pop and he loves it! Whenever we have a can of pop he comes over with his mouth open nad he enjoys the tiny bit that is left at the lip of the can. He thinks he is getting so much! (oh the wonderful habits we are starting)

wow! he is standing eh?! That's amazing. Thanks for the 8 month update, I love the photos. He is getting big. I've only seen select few times and he is always so much bigger every time I see him :o), I guess that's what happens to babies haha
Happy eight months! I can't believe that he is already standing on his own and looking quite proud while he does it.
Megan, thanks for the update in pictures. These are great. What a big boy you have. Challenged with standing, next will be independence. What great fun. I'm glad to see you are giving him the important food groups. Now if he takes a liking to olives and raspberries you will have true genetic confession. Thanks again for helping us stay up with his development. Love you all, Papa...........

Way to go Aidan! He will be walking before you know it...watch out world! What a cutie! Thanks for sharing him with us!
