That's My Boy....

A Boy After My Own Heart:
I have to confess that I am a true Kraft Dinner fan. I have enjoyed it since I was a little kid. Jamie isn't such a fan of it so I don't get it all that often and I eat it solo; until today. I decided to see if Aidan would like it today for lunch and to my great suprise he loved it! I now have a partner in crime for my indulgence in Kraft Dinner. Last week I was cleaning a house where the woman had these dogwood flowers on her dining room table. I commented that I loved dogwood blossoms and at the end of my cleaning she handed me a bunch of my very own dogwood branches. I had never seen pink ones before but they are now one of my favorite spring flowers. They are so beautiful.
This weekend was fun and frustrating. I was able to spend time with a good friend that I don't see all the time. We don't have to do a lot to have fun. I am so glad that we are always able to pick up where we left off especially when its been months. It was good to get out of the house and just be with a friend; it definitely doesn't happen as much as I would like it to. Oh well, I suppose that is the price I pay for becoming a mom. Don't get me wrong, I love being a mom but it is still important to me to get time for myself and with friends.
Church was a bit frustrating on Sunday. I was trying to get us out of the house and to church on time however, by the time we got the church it had already started and the nursery was full. So, we sat in the balcony and of course Aidan couldn't sit still and I had to take him to the nursery and stay there with him. We hadn't been able to get to church in a couple of weeks and I was looking forward to sitting and hearing from the Word; but instead I was in the nursery. I suppose it is a lesson in punctuality. Better luck next time.

Meg, you must remember the dogwoods from our house in Hastings. You are right, the pink ones are especially beautiful. They should be blooming here soon. They always bloom around Mother's Day here.
Aidan you just keep getting cuter every day.
