He Got Buzzed

This weekend was quite a busy one. Jamie and Aidan spent a lot of quality time together (as you can tell). We had friends over for dinner and games Friday night. It was my first time doing a deer roast (in the crockpot) and it turned out amazing. When I was trying to cut it up to serve the meat just fell apart. I was so impressed.
Aidan absolutely loved riding up on dad's shoulders. He was laughing like crazy. It was a great way to divert his attention because he was starting to get fragile due to tiredness.

Saturday was a rather busy one. After our baseball double-header I had to rush off to church for worship team. Jamie has been so supportive of me getting back to it. Church was good and afterwards we hung out with our life group. Actually the girls left the guys with the kids and took off for some girltime. It was so fun. I don't think that I have laughed so hard in a long time. You could tell that the four of us mom's had not gotten out in awhile. I think our server thought we were crazy!

See anything different???
That's right, he got buzzed!!! I went to a friends for coffee this morning and she had just buzzed her boys heads. They looked so cute that I decided that it was time to buzz him so that his hair could grow back evenly. She had told me that eventually we would have to do it and so I figured now was as good a time as ever. We'll see if Jamie likes it when he gets home from work:) Some of you might be laughing right now because that is how random and sporadic I am with my own head of hair and now I have someone else to do it to as well.
I think that he looks so cute!!!!

I think it looks cute as well, I also like how it looks like his head has a bit of a glow to it because his hair is so light! That is one good thing about boys, is that you can just chop it all off to get it growing right, but for some reason that is unacceptable with girls.

Cute pictures! I agree with Jody that his head 'glows' because of the light hair! Good for him that he had enough hair to actually buzz! unlike the kids in our family who were bald until a year!

Wow! He looks so grown up with a buzz cut! It is really cute. How'd Jamie react? I can totally relate to the spontaneous hair cutting. If I didn't have a husband with an opinion, my hair would definitely change lots!
