Man, it sure has been awhile since I last posted; or maybe it is just that lots has happened. Last Monday I left for L.A. to get training for my new job with World Vision International. It was the first time I had left Aidan for an extended amount of time. I have to say that I think I did pretty well. The first night it was weird falling asleep knowing I was so far away from the men in my life. However, the time went by so fast that it really wasn't bad. And it seems that he did just fine too. Wed night I got home after he had gone to bed so when I went in to get him the following morning he had a confused look on his face. I knew that he missed me and was glad I was home when after his bottle he chose to sit on my lap for awhile (he never does that). It definitely made me feel good.
Today Aidan is 10 months old!!! I can't believe it! What a big boy he has become. He isn't walking solo yet but he sure can take a few steps on his own. I don't think that it will be too much longer before he just lets go of everything and begins going it alone. 
He has been rather attracted to trucks and cars lately. This is the only car that he had for the longest time but our friends gave us a box load of big cars and trucks. They have four kids and there two youngest are boys that have grown out of them. It was awesome; kind of like Christmas in June! He has been doing rather well playing on his own. As long as I am in the room he is content to keep himself busy with his toys. Lately, he has been talking lots while he is playing. There are times when it sounds like he is really saying something. Jamie and I sometimes look at each wondering if we heard him right:) 
How can you know love this face! The other night we decided to strip him down to his diaper to feed him because his shirt had gotten soaked from his drool. That way we didn't have to use a bib. I think he liked it.
This is the closest shot I could get of all of his teeth. Six in total, four on top. No more hippo smile!

Ten months already! How can that be!What a great smile you have Aidan, we miss you bunches. Meg, what great friends you have to share their toys! It's nice to know Aidan loves trucks, just like his Uncle Ben used to. Love, Mom
Good to hear from you again, I was missing out on my Aidan fix. It seems like you always get the best pictures of him, hopefully I will do just as well with our little one. I am also glad to hear that all went well with your training.
I agree! You gotta love that face! We will be missing our Aidan fix too over the next weeks so will be checking the blog along with Jody! :-)

The many faces of Aidan Beck. Your right, he sure is a cutie. He has a fun loving smile, all 6 teeth included. His expressions always make me smile. I can't wait to give him a hug.
