I haven't posted in awhile but I suppose that is because life has been incredibly busy. These next few pictures were ones I just couldn't resist posting. This past week Aidan has been rather busy boy. We put our Christmas tree up last weekend and it has been a week of temptations. We are trying to teach him that he can touch the ornaments but he must leave them on the tree. As you can see above, he hadn't learned by the time I took this picture. After a couple of time-outs (in a row) he has learned to leave them on the tree.

I was trying to take some pictures of him that day because it shows that he has no bum to hold up his pants. Poor kid. Right now, his pants are either to short or to big that they fall off. He is at such an awkward place right now. I normally have to roll the waist of his pants so that they will stay on.
Jamie has started coaching his grade 8 basketball team. They have had two games and have lost them both but I think they are making progress. Aidan and I went to the first home game and he loved it. He wanted to be out on the floor the whole time but did well with having to sit with me during the game. At half time and at the end of the game he was given free reign on the court. He loved it, Jamie gave him a basketball and he would throw it and then run after it. He definitely ran off lots of energy that day. I have a feeling he is going to quickly become a gym rat.

Lately, I have been letting Aidan run around in just his diaper before putting him in his clothes for the day. He really loves running around naked. It is so funny to watch. He has started to notice that when he drools it runs down his chest and tummy; so he tries to wipe his chest. Can't you tell he loves being naked??? In the last picture I couldn't believe how long and skinny he looks. He has become such a big boy.

Speaking of big boy, it is weird and funny to think that he is going to be a big brother in 5 months. He is going to make a great big brother but I think we have a lot of work to do before this next little one joins us. :) For those who might be wondering, I am doing well. I am starting to get my energy back (as much as I can with still having a 15 month old). I am starting to show a bit but I think it is still just that "fat" stage. I am sure I will pop soon. I will try and post a picture sometime soon.
Jamie's sister Jody comes with daughter Caily next week. It will be good to spend some time with them and with Darin when he arrives a week later before we leave on Christmas Day. I can't believe it is two weeks before Christmas. It is going to be good to spend time with family.
