I am Blessed!

I know I haven't taken too many pictures of the belly growth this time around. It definitely is not because I have not wanted to post pictures but I have found with it being the second child I have not been able to do all the things I was able to do with the first. And whenever I have the choice to post cute pictures of Aidan or a belly shot of myself the first choice sounds so much more appealing. However, today is different. I have combined cute Aidan with the belly and have the best of both worlds :) Before we left for church this morning Jamie took these shots of the three of us. I don't think that Aidan really has much of an idea of what will happen in 6 weeks but he knows there is a baby in my tummy. We have been trying to talk about this new baby more during the week so that when the big day happens he will be as prepared as we can make him.
This past week has been a rather exhausting one however, in the midst of it all, I was continually reminded of how blessed I am with my handsome man, my little boy and my pregnancy. I worked full time this week on a conference that took place here in Abbotsford. That meant that I was up early getting Aidan ready to go to Grandma's house (thanks Mama B for all your help) every morning. I was out of the house from 8 - 5:30pm everyday. Jamie would pick Aidan up after school everyday and then they would wait until I came home then we would have dinner. My handsome man was so helpful this week. I am so blessed to have a hubby that helps out so much. We were given a glimpse of what life could have been like if I had not been blessed with this part time job at home. I am so blessed to be a mom and work at home. It has been such a great thing for us.
On Wednesday I had my 34 week midwife appointment. It was a good appointment. The midwife said that baby is head down, heart rate is good and my blood pressure continues to be good as well. Again another thing to be thankful for. I cannot wait to meet this new addition to our family. I am looking forward to having a baby in the house again. We are definitely blessed and very thankful for the many blessings that we have been given.

I agree you are certainly blessed. You look great and so does Aidan. I'm sure Aidan will have some major adjusting to do in a few weeks. Such is the way of life , he will do fine. We too are grateful for all the help Dave and Doris give you.Wish we could do more. We look forward to coming soon. Love Mom

Cute haircut! All the best in these next weeks! By the way, each of the three girls in my family and two other friends who had babies recently were early ...
so maybe you'll be surprised too!

Thanks for the pictures and the update, I can't believe how much Aidan and the little one are growing. For some reason I still think of you as just barely being pregnant and not showing at all, but then I see pictures and am reminded how quickly there will be a new little one added to the Beck clan. Love you guys and am very excited to hear of the littlest's arrival.

Hi Megan!
I was wondering if you happen to see a digital camera in a black case lying around the bleachers after the baseball game last Saturday in Bradner?? Oddly enough I can't find mine ANYWHERE at home and the last day I know I had it was that Saturday. I don't even know if I took it along, but I just can't think of where else I may have left it... do let me know!

Megan, How true it is that we are all so blessed. We have been so grateful for the job that you have been able to do at home. We have been even more grateful for how you have embraced and enjoyed motherhood. You are a great Mom, and a delight to watch as you encounter the challenges of parenting. Enjoy the season. Looking forward to seeing you all soon. Love, Papa................
