This weekend it has not been the nice of weather and it seems to happen that no matter the weather we play sports inside. I am sure that as the boys get older we will have to stop this kind of play but for now they boys seem to enjoy it and we definitely get some good laughs. Their track record has been pretty good too...nothing has ever been broken...yet.
Jaxon was absolutely hilarious on Saturday. Not sure what sparked the interest in wanting to wear the backpack but it was a must for playing baseball (plus no pants). I love watching his concentration...he isn't much for hitting the ball very well yet but he sure does try. And every so often he does connect.
Aidan has gotten really good at baseball. He loves the game and most of all I think he loves running the bases which means running around the kitchen. His forms pretty good too. I think that if you would pitch or play catch with him he would play it all day long. He tries to get Jaxon to play with him but of course Jaxon doesn't play it right :)
Keep your eye on the ball...I think he has that direction down pat..
I think they both have that direction down good....at least in these pictures...
The funny thing about this picture of Aidan is that when Jamie plays baseball he makes the same faces as Aidan when he is about to hit the ball. I laughed so hard when I started reviewing the pictures. They truly are related.
Running the bases....I love the fact that I got him in mid-stride. He is concentrating so hard, the look on his face is hilarious.
Sometimes I wonder if my boys received a sports transfusion from their daddy. They love to play every sport imaginable. They even prefer to watch sports on TV then watching cartoons. It is absolutely crazy but so fun to watch and enjoy.

that last picture is especially hilarious :)
awww, don't you just love boys?!
You don't know me - I found your blog through a friend of a friend of a friend, etc.! I think I remember your husband's family, I also went to MEI.
Anyways, I liked this post because I also have two boys, who are older than yours, mine are 7 and 8 years old and they STILL play sports in our little house when it's yucky outside, mostly hockey, and believe it not we have still never had anything broken. Things have been knocked down many many times but never broken. Ahhh, the fun of boys!!
