Cousin Love

We had lots of fun yesterday because Auntie Heather and Kai came to play. It was so fun to watch these boys start to play together and enjoy each other. Aidan has always been amazing with babies (especially his baby cousins) even though you would never think it.
Aidan was thrilled to have Kai come to his house to play. They enjoyed chasing each other around the house, throwing balls (and other toys), going to the park, and watching cartoons. It is so cute to see that even other cousins suck their thumbs :) You can also see that one these things (kids) is not like the other ones. Kai is the cutest brown hair, brown eye boy....however, you can tell he doesn't belong to my family. Heather and I have always joked that we could switch kids and no one would even notice because Kai and I have the brown hair and eyes in common and she has the blue eyes and use to be blond hair in common.

Aidan and Kai seemed to bond well yesterday. After lunch they decided it would be fun to spin around in circles and fall down. Oh, the fun they had and the laughter that spilled from our mouths. Jaxon was eating and missed out on this fun but he sure did laugh along with them.
I am glad that these boys get to spend some time together. My hope and prayer is that as they get older that they will always pick up where they left off in their friendship as the distance separates them. Right now and today my prayer has been answered for this trip. You can definitely tell they love each other.
