Friends, Cousins and Warm Weather

A couple of weeks ago Jamie thought it might be fun to see if they boys would like to watch him play hockey on the TV. Perfect excuse to play video games until they decide they want to try :0

It did work for a bit but not too long. The boys thought it was fun to watch daddy play hockey on TV until they realized....they could do it too. Well, sort of. They haven't really master's the hand controls yet but they sure think they have. I will admit that Aidan is definitely quicker on the learning and can actually play a bit.

The nice thing about this NHL video game is that it will look like you are actually playing it when you aren't really doing anything at all. Great for Jaxon cuz he really thinks he is playing and winning ;) I have a feeling that they will be video game junkies in not time.

Of course, the video game playing happened when we had crappy weather and as soon as the sun came out and it was warm it was hard to get the boys to come inside. I am in love with our backyard! It is a great size for the boys to play and for us to sit and enjoy the sunshine. I am continually grateful and blessed for where we live. It's just perfect!

This week we were able to have some friends over to play as well as our little cousin, Kai. The boys loved having so many people to play with. Kai wasn't sure about the trampoline at first but once his daddy got on with him...he gave it a try. I love the trampoline hair everyone gets when jumping (me included).

The boys insisted that we have a picnic outside with lunch. It was cute to watch them all get on the blanket and enjoy being outside and eating.... Not sure why they have to sit on the edges of the blanket and not take over the whole thing but it worked.

The boys are getting really good on the trampoline these days. They love to run in circles and chase each other and then take turns bouncing each other. Because there was three of them on it at one time I had them take turns jumping and they were having fun with it. As soon as they all figured out how to jump together they were up in no time. I am sure we will have an injury one of these days with the trampoline.....something I am not looking forward to in the least but I have boys and something tells me it is inevitable.

I really hope the nice weather keeps coming and the rain doesn't stay for too long. It would be nice to just have summer come and stay.

Love the pictures and I totally agree that it would be awesome if summer would come and stay!
