Gotta love cheap!

For those of you who do read my blog, on a regular basis, I do apologize for taking so long for this post. Our computer seems to have issues at times and it just so happened on the day I wanted to blog. Anyways, this past week marked 9 months for Aidan! I can't believe how fast he is growning. At his check-up his measurements are:
Weight: 20.25 lbs
Length: 30 inches
Head: "growing a large brain" (that's what the doc said)
And the greatest news of all is that he can start on Homo Milk!!! We have started alternating it with his formula to help him make the transition but it doesn't seem that necessary. He seems to like it! Yahoo to cheaper milk than formula!
I am noticing that Aidan really enjoys looking at the screen on our camera as his picture is being taken. He really likes seeing himself. (Oh, I hope that doesn't mean he is going to be full of himself when he gets older:) So, it makes self-portraits tons of fun. Jamie and I love taking self-portraits anyways and now we have passed it onto Aidan. This past week Aidan had Christmas early! A friend of mine told me that Value Village was having a 50% off sale. I decided that this would be a great opportunity to find "new" toys for him. I have been wanting to get him a walking toy and brand new one's at Walmart were over $20! I got this one for $3! He loves it! He can walk all over the house with it. He does enjoy getting it stuck and then flipping it over but I suppose that is just a boy thing to do.
I was also able to get him some other "new" toys as well. The greatest thing is that they are new to him and all you have to do is clean them before using them. At times he seriously didn't know which one to play with first. It was great to see him enjoying "new" toys and it didn't break the bank! Love it, love it!
Just another funny face and a belt that he thinks is a toy. I don't know what it is about the belt buckle that he enjoys so much but whenever he is in our bedroom he finds it and decides it is time to chew. Almost kind of like a puppy; but not quite:)
This last weekend was a busy one for all of us but especially for the little guy. Sunday he spent all day recovering. He has never really been much of a cuddler but boy did he cuddle with his daddy yesterday. We were both amazed. He would just sit on his dad's lap sucking his thumb and occasionally make small talk. It lasted for over 30 minutes! We are figuring that it was just a day he needed to make up for the business that we put him through; not to mention the cold he is trying to get over. The cuddles were great and Jamie and I figure we have to take them while we can.

Great pictures Megs! I kept checking because I knew he had had his appointment! Pretty soon he won't need the walking toy...he will just take off running! What a cutie!
