Mom was so good with being prepared with having lots of fun toys for Aidan to play with. However, one of the first days we were there he found the fridge and decided that magnets were more fun. So, mom went out and found alphabet letters for the fridge. Hours of fun were spent on the floor by the fridge. I think we are going to have to find some out here.

One afternoon we took Aidan to the park near my parents house. It was his first time going down a slide and he really seemed to like it. Then the last day we were there Mom and Dad took him to the park again, they said that he was more interested in playing with the wood chips then the playground equipment. So, Papa and Nana sat with him in the wood chips and made lots of fun piles.

This picture was taken at the Meijer Gardens. It is neat botanical and sculpture garden. They have a kids section that allows them to play with toys and smell different flowers and plants. Here Aidan and Papa are standing on a smaller scale version of the Great Lakes. They had little boats that you could float down the rivers, canals and lakes. Aidan was quite enamored with it.

It's sweet corn season!!! At first he didn't want to touch the cob but then when tasted it, he couldn't get enough.
The other night he had another one and he just loved it. When I took it away from him he got rather upset at me.
Well, we are adjusting to being home, the time change is the hardest part. Aidan is getting there but is still tired early and seems to need more sleep than usual. I am not complaining because it is quite helpful while I am figuring out this new working from home business. I have been able to get my hours in the last couple of days but it has been good that Jamie has been home. I will talk more about work later...I need to be working:)

Thanks for sharing more pictures Megs! Sure looks like you had a wonderful time.
Sounds like you had a great time at your parent's place. The pic of Aiden eating corn is great! He is looking so big these days. Much more like a toddler than a baby.
Aidan looks so much like Ben, I can't believe it! When were you in Michigan? When will you be back? I would love to connect sometime.
